Peppermint Bath Salts- DIY Christmas Gifting

I love making my own  bath salts and body scrubs, so this year I decided to make a Christmas batch to give away as little gifts to friends and family. Here is my recipe!

Christmas Peppermint Bath Salts

Depending on how many jars of bath salts you want to make, amounts will vary. This recipe is based on about 10 jars.

Ingredients:

6 Cups Epsom Salt

1 Cup Coarse Sea Salt

1 1/2 Cups Baking Soda

100% Pure Peppermint Essential Oil (about 10 drops, depending on how strong you want it)

Glycerin Soap Color in Green (optional)

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the epsom salt, coarse sea salt, and baking soda until fully combined.
  2. Ad drops of essential oil until fragrant.
  3. Ad optional drops of soap color two drops at a time. Keep adding until desired color.

For the packaging:

I purchased all of the packaging at Michaels. For this recipe, you can choose any size or style mason jar you can find!

As pictured, I used white and red christmas twine for the bow and a round brown paper tag for the top/label

Feel free to be creative with the packaging and make it your own!
